Privacy Policy

Career Path Partners ("we", "us") runs jobs.careerpathpartners.io: the job board, the skills assessment, your dashboard, and your board of mentors. This page says what we collect, why, who else touches it, and how you delete it. Questions: support@careerpathpartners.io.
This policy also covers our other sites (careerpathpartners.io and its subdomains, including The Deployment Academy) and the text messages and emails we send.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email, and a phone number if you give one.
- Your assessment and résumé: your answers, scores, and any résumé text you share, so we can match you to jobs.
- Your activity: jobs you save, applications you track, Apply Kits you build.
- Your mentor conversations: what you write to your mentors and what they reply, plus the short record they keep (your goals, decisions, and the actions you agreed to). We do not record health, money, family, religion or immigration details on that record.
- Text messages: if you text Ava, our messages with you and your number.
- Payments: handled by Whop. We see your plan and payment status, never your card number.
- Accounts you choose to connect (all optional, described below): Google Calendar, a forwarding email address, and your LinkedIn data export.
Connected accounts
Google Calendar (read only)
If you press Connect Google Calendar, you let us read your calendar events with Google's read-only events permission. We look at the next 7 days and keep only events that look job-related (for example "interview", "phone screen", "recruiter"): the title, start time and end time. We do not keep descriptions, locations, or who else is invited, and we never create, change or delete anything on your calendar. Your mentors use those events to help you prepare the day before.
Forwarded job email
We never connect to your inbox. You get a private address, and you decide which emails to forward to it, usually with a filter. For each forwarded email we keep the sender, subject, a short preview (up to 500 characters) and a label such as interview, offer or rejection. Your mentors use it to suggest your next step. Our email provider, Postmark, receives these messages for us.
LinkedIn export
If you upload files from your own LinkedIn data export, we keep your positions, skills, headline and your connections' names, companies and job titles. We do not keep your connections' email addresses or profile links. Your mentors use this to point out people you already know at a company. We do not contact your connections.
Google user data
Career Path Partners' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- We use Google Calendar data only to show you your upcoming job events and to have your mentors help you prepare for them.
- We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to build profiles for anyone else.
- We do not use it to train general AI or machine-learning models.
- No person at Career Path Partners reads it unless you ask us to, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.
- When you press Disconnect, we revoke our access at Google and delete every calendar event we stored.
How we use it
- To match you to jobs, run your dashboard, and build what you ask for (Apply Kits, reports).
- To let your mentors answer you, remember what you agreed to, and check in when you asked them to.
- To send the messages you signed up for. You can reply STOP to any text.
- To run billing, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
We do not sell your personal information.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and check the box to agree, Career Path Partners will text you. Depending on what you agreed to, that can be updates about your application, call and class reminders, replies from our team or Ava, and information about our training programs. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. You can also email support@careerpathpartners.io. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying anything.
Your mobile number stays with us. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the sharing described in this policy excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We never sell or rent your number or your consent to anyone, including lead generators.
AI
Your mentors are AI. To write a reply, we send your message and the relevant parts of your record to our AI provider, Anthropic. Anthropic's commercial terms say content sent through its API is not used to train its models. When a mentor searches the web for you, the search runs through that provider. The Advocate never introduces you to anyone on its own: a real person on our team reviews every introduction request first.
Who else handles your data
Only companies that run parts of the service for us, each for that job:
- Supabase (database and sign-in) and Vercel (hosting)
- Anthropic (AI replies and web search)
- GoHighLevel (text messages, email and our customer records)
- Whop (payments)
- Postmark (receiving the job emails you forward)
- Google (only if you connect your calendar)
We may also share information if the law requires it or to protect people from harm.
Cookies and tracking
- Sign-in: if you create an account, we set cookies that keep you signed in. Without them the dashboard cannot work.
- Page views and ad source: GoHighLevel's tracking script records which pages you visit and the campaign link (UTM tags) that brought you here, and links that to your record if you fill in one of our forms. It uses a cookie to do this.
- Site analytics: Vercel Analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.
- Videos: pages with a YouTube or Vimeo video load that company's player, which may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
We do not sell this information or use it to build advertising profiles for anyone else. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them, but you will need to sign in again.
Security and how long we keep it
Data is encrypted in transit. Google access tokens are encrypted again before we store them. We keep your data while your account is open. Calendar events drop off after they happen and are replaced on each sync.
Your choices
- Disconnect Google Calendar, turn off forwarding, or remove your LinkedIn data any time from your mentors page. Each one deletes what we stored for it.
- Turn check-ins and alerts off, or reply STOP to texts.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing support@careerpathpartners.io. We answer within 30 days.
Age
The service is for adults. It is not meant for anyone under 18.
